Meet

The Wine Makers at

St. Josef's Estate Winery

The owner and winemaker, Josef Fleischmann, was born in Hungary with wine in his veins; his grandfather had a winery in the picturesque valleys of Central Hungary. Both he and his future wife Lilli fled to the US during WWII. As aspiring wine makers, they made their way to the lush Willamette Valley in Oregon in the early 1960s and planted their first vineyards in 1978. Their award winning wine has attracted the attention of connoisseurs from the valley and beyond; their vintage cabernet even won 'gold' at the NY Wine Summit - one of the most prestigious wine events in America.

After more than 30 years in the business, St. Josef’s is proud to remain family owned & operated. They are known for making vibrant food-friendly Willamette Valley wines - making them a perfect partner for our third annual Eat, Drink, & Be Giving fundraising event!
